Sunrise Cambodia is a sustainable community development organisation with a focus on Cambodia’s most vulnerable children and the communities in which they live.
Cambodia’s turbulent political history turned a once peaceful nation into a violent battlefield, leaving the country’s good-natured people on the brink of despair.
The civil war of the 1960s and 1970s coincided with the US attack on the Cambodian countryside, devastating communities and prompting widespread poverty. Shortly after, a brutal genocide instigated by radical communist leader, Pol Pot, saw over a quarter of the population systematically murdered – a barbaric act where he sought to advance his political ideologies of revolution and eradicate the educated. More than 40 years later, the deep loss of an entire generation is still widely profound.

WHAT WE DO:
Our Vision
- All male victims of domestic abuse (and their children) are supported to enable them to escape from the situation they are in.
- To ensure recognition and support for male victims is fully integrated and mainstreamed in society’s view of domestic abuse and in the statutory and non-statutory delivery of domestic abuse services.
Our Mission
- Provide direct help and support for male victims of domestic abuse and domestic violence.
- Actively encourage other voluntary and statutory services to acknowledge the incidence of male domestic abuse, to view domestic abuse as gender neutral* and to provide adequate levels of support to male victims.
- Raise public awareness and act as an advocate for the issue of male victims of domestic abuse (and their children).
Our views on a range of matters can be found in this Policy Statement
Our activities
The charity undertakes a number of core activities:
- We run a helpline manned by trained team who provide practical information, signposting and emotional support on all aspects of domestic abuse. The helpline receives 1,400 telephone calls every year from male victims or concerned friends, family (often mothers and sisters) and work colleagues. We also receive 200 calls from the police, councils, support services and the legal profession.
- We provide support services and information to statutory agencies, professional organisations and the voluntary sector. This activity includes training, presentations, a national conference, a directory of services (called the Oak Book), information on how to create services and a referral service. The charity has a qualified Independent Domestic Violence Adviser.
- We give a voice to male victims (and their children) to raise the public profile of their plight and to call for adequate services and recognition at national and local level. This includes producing research, responding to government consultations, running campaigns, speaking to professionals, media appearances and supporting academia, students and politicians.
Our direct and support services are managed by qualified Independent Domestic Violence Advisers and meet sector standards such as:
- National Institute of Health and Clinical Excellence Domestic Violence and Abuse Quality Standards (QS1116): Guidance
- Telephone Helplines Partnership
Our public policy and communications activity is managed by a qualified professional who is a Member of the Chartered Institute of Public Relations.

For kids with diff:ability, growing up being the only one in your class to rock hearing aids or roll on wheels, and rarely seeing anyone like you positively reflected in toys, books, TV, films can lead to a sense of isolation and low self esteem.
Positive representation matters. To see yourself reflected by huge toy brands like Playmobil and Lego is about more than just a toy. It’s about these brands sending out a powerful message that everyone should be included and celebrated, not just able-bodied people. If we leave diff:ability out of the toy box what does that teach kids in real life? That it’s OK to exclude?
However, #ToyLikeMe doesn’t advocate that toy companies should make diff:abled toys for diff:abled children per se. We believe ALL children will benefit from incidental diff:ability being positively included in toys. Let’s normalise diff:ability for what it really is, part of the natural spectrum of human life.
It’s time to stop stereotyping diff:ability as synonymous with hospitals or grandparents and think outside the toy box, freshen up a bit! Nearly every toy wheelchair we have ever found has been part of a hospital set, every glasses-wearing toy has been a geek or a nerd, every patch-wearer, a pirate. Where are the wizards with wheelchairs? Fairies with guide dogs? Princesses with diabetic lines?
Global toy brands have the cultural sway to educate by stealth and change attitudes. It’s win, win happy-making stuff all round!

Birnbeck Pier, known locally as the Old Pier, is in need of urgent restoration and you can help the Birnbeck Regeneration Trust to achieve this for prosperity, for heritage.
It stands on the North Somerset coastline at Weston-super-Mare. Built between 1864 and 1867, it is a unique structure, being the only British seaside pier that links the mainland to an island. Over its lifetime it has enjoyed mixed fortunes. In its heyday, it was the Victorian and then Edwardian equivalent of a modern theme-park, with tourist attractions such as a water slide and fairground rides. It was a major transportation link, with scheduled steam ship services arriving from and departing to destinations including Cardiff, Minehead, Ilfracombe and Lundy Island.
The last of these sailings, by the MV Balmoral, took place in 1979. Since then, the pier has suffered a slow and steady decline in both popular attraction as well as in its general condition. Its ownership has changed a number of times, with various multi-million pound development plans being proposed on each occasion, none of which have ever come to fruition.
The Birnbeck Regeneration Trust seeks a regenerated and expandable island complex, with a mix of old and new - aimed at giving the island a commercially viable future.
The Trust has long campaigned for a revival of the entire Birnbeck area actively working towards achieving its stated aim of:
Preserving for the benefit of the people of Weston-super-Mare, and the Nation, the natural, historical, architectural and constructional heritage of Birnbeck Pier and Island, together with associated buildings and structures, and the land and buildings adjacent and above the shoreline.
The Birnbeck Regeneration Trust is entirely dependant on charitable public and corporate support to be able to advance this project. We are currently fundraising, in conjunction with the Friends of the Old Pier Society, to enable us to commission an externally-conducted feasibility study and an up-to-date structural survey of the Birnbeck structures and buildings. Both of these exercises are necessary preliminary requirements for the progression of the Heritage Lottery Fund application process. We also need donations to help us meet our operational costs.
Please help us by donating any amount, large or small. Everything we receive will be gratefully received, and will help towards the fight to save Birnbeck for future generations to enjoy.

Bacterial antibiotic resistance is on the rise globally, threatening modern medicine as we know it.
Resistance to antibiotics arises when natural bacteria in our body are no longer affected by the antibiotics we use. The resulting antibiotic-resistant infection can be fatal. Nearly every medical procedure, from cancer treatment and organ transplantation to hip or joint replacement, is dependent on effective antibiotics (see how procedures would be affected).
This impending disaster is why our charity needs to be successful. If we don’t act now, the antibiotic era will pass, and our children and grandchildren will fail to have the benefits of antibiotics that current generations have enjoyed.
Read our latest news
Who we are
Antibiotic Research UK (ANTRUK) (ANTRUK) was founded in 2014 to tackle antibiotic resistance. We are a ‘virtual’ charity, which means we don’t have a central office. This allows us to spend more of your donation on research into new antibiotics, rather than paying overheads, and allows world-class experts to be an integral part of our work, wherever they are based.
Fighting antibiotic resistance, today and tomorrow
ANTRUK aims to raise sufficient funds over the next five years to bring at least one new antibiotic treatment to market by the early 2020’s. The research we fund will be carried out by universities and businesses in the UK and overseen by the antibiotic-resistance experts that make up our Science Committee.
We also aim to provide public and professional education and information for patients.

We create adventures which bring people together from different walks of life in a common goal to help small children charities across Asia and Africa and in doing so changing their lives forever.
We only do life changing trips to our projects in Nepal, India, Tanzania, Sumatra or Mauritius.
Founded by Ashley Platen-Mills in 2010, the first adventure was in a 1995 Land Rover Discovery V6 from Wimborne in Dorset to Dushanbe in the Land of the Tajiks. The second hand vehicle which was destined to fail never even got a puncture. The team travelled through 16 countries, across the Georgian mountains, Caspian sea, Turkmenistan desert, the fuel starved Uzbekistan, through the Anzob Tunnel and along the Afghanistan border to The Sworde Teppa Education Centre in Querghon Teppa in Tajikistan! Ashley and his team had accumulated the support of over 60 sponsors in the six month marketing build up to the event and received camping equipment, vehicle parts and GPS equipment.
The journey turned into a epiphany and on his return Ashley decided to develop the charity to share his experiences with like-minded individuals looking for adventure and in developing long term partnerships with small children’s charities across Asia and Africa and thus Adventure Aid was born.

been thrown into wells, lain injured in fields, tossed into dumpsters, run scared in traffic, given birth on a roadside and left to die in abandoned breeding camps. A galgo sighting may occur at anytime so GDS is perpetually on call.
Thanks to the generosity and support of our donors the Galgos del Sol Education and Rescue Centre is fully functional and growing!

American Fund For Charities
US Regulator (IRS) — Charity Number: 52-2109597
The American Fund for Charities was founded in 1997 to meet an emerging need in global philanthropy. For many non-profits outside the USA, one way to receive charitable donations from Americans is to establish a non-profit “Friends of. . .” partner organization in the USA. These partner organizations facilitate support of the overseas organization by providing American donors with tax-deductions for their gifts.
Because establishing a non-profit organization is time-consuming and costly, the American Fund was created to enable tax-deductible charitable giving to foreign non-profits that do not have their own “American Friends” organizations in the USA.
Our Mission
To connect people with great causes worldwide.
Our Vision
The American Fund for Charities seeks positive change around the world through support of non-profit organizations dedicated to social, cultural, and environmental initiatives.

Who We Support
Snow-Camp work with a range of young people, aged 13-21, across the UK.
We work directly with youth projects and youth service providers to ensure that we are working with those who are most in need of our support. The young might be failing in school, or have dropped out altogether, they might have committed juvenile crimes and now struggle to find employment or they’re on a negative life-path and need support to change their direction. They could also, simply, just need someone to believe in them.
Our Programme Journey
Motivating young people to fully engage is the key to successful youth work and the young people we work with are traditionally hard to engage. However, we have found that snowsports are incredibly attractive to inner-city young people, despite being out-of-reach for many. The opportunity to participate in snowsports acts as the tool with which we can effectively engage young people and maintain a positive involvement with them.

Since its creation by Amanda Feilding in 1998, the Beckley Foundation has been at the forefront of global drug policy reform and scientific research into psychoactive substances. We collaborate with leading scientific and political institutions worldwide to design and develop ground-breaking research and global policy initiatives.
The Beckley Foundation’s purpose is two-fold:
- To scientifically investigate the effects of psychoactive substances on the brain and consciousness in order to harness their potential benefits and minimise their potential harms; learn more about consciousness and brain function; and discover and explore new avenues for the treatment of illnesses.
- To achieve evidence-based changes in global drug policies in order to reduce the harms brought about by the unintended negative consequences of current drug policies; and develop improved policies based on health, harm reduction, cost-effectiveness, and human rights.
Scientific Programme
Through the Scientific Programme – led by
Amanda – we collaborate with leading experts and institutions to design,
initiate, and direct scientific research projects, including clinical trials.
The studies focus on cannabis, MDMA, and psychedelics (LSD, psilocybin, DMT,
5-MeO-DMT), and explore how these substances act upon the human brain, using the
latest developments in neuroscience and brain imaging technology. The purpose of
the research is to increase our scientific understanding of consciousness
itself, and to explore new avenues for treatment and well-being.
Policy Programme
Through the Policy Programme, we collaborate with a
network of political leaders and drug policy analysts to develop evidence-based
global drug policies. Our policy initiatives open up discussion on taboo issues
surrounding the complex subject of drug policy, and they explore new regulatory
models which aim to reduce the disastrous collateral harms caused by the
policies of prohibition.

Kids for Kids adopts remote villages in Darfur, where children are living in intolerable poverty. Our holistic programme of projects is tailored to each village, with input from the villagers themselves. We empower local people, training them to run the projects for themselves and their community, so they can raise their families out of poverty long-term, and give their children hope of a better future.
What We Do:
Water is desperately needed in Darfur, and children are
walking miles each day for every drop.
We provide handpumps for water so
that villagers can access one of the largest aquifers in Africa which is right
underneath Darfur.
We provide goats on loan. These little creatures literally work miracles in Darfur, helping to stop starvation in its tracks and giving families hope for the future. During a two year loan period the loaned goat is mated to produce Kids, the loaned goat is then loaned out to another family to repeat the process. Of the Kids produced, when they produce Kids, they must be moved on and loaned out and so on. An utterly sustainable project so long as water is available. Water is the key, the glue that binds it all together.
We also help with Midwives & Healthcare, Education & Kindergartens,
Animal Care, trees & Agriculture.

Good Old-Fashioned, Confidence-Building Fun.
Our programs are more

We're where the fun is.
Truly a global network, we reach beyond

How the Fun Began
Almost three decades ago, actor, Paul Newman started
a free camp where kids could escape the fear and isolation of their medical
conditions and, in his words, "raise a little hell." This remarkable concept
sparked a quiet movement, and that one camp launched a global network. That
single camp started in 1988 in Ashford, CT and is known as The Hole in the Wall

Today, there are 30 camps and programs serving the needs of
children and families around the world in a fun, safe environment for
children of all circumstances and backgrounds with serious illnesses.
This history of fun making has had life-changing impact.
Our camps are
more than just fun — they're life changing. The moments created at
camp have improved self-esteem, social skills and more. It's true.

At Unseen we are working towards a world without slavery.
It’s a big aim and a big task, but we believe we can do it. By concentrating our efforts on three main areas - supporting, equipping and influencing - we can start to tackle the issue in a way that really works.
Our specialist care is the first step in the fight against slavery. Through supporting survivors, our provision gives them a safe place to recover from trauma and rebuild their lives.
Our practices are researched thoroughly, enabling us to identify the key issues surrounding slavery and exploitation, and equipping ourselves and others with effective, targeted solutions.
We also recognise the importance of influencing the systems that keep slavery hidden. Tackling issues such as supply and demand are vital if we are going to eradicate slavery.
We hope that one day our work is no longer needed. That by working in partnership with communities, business, governments and other organisations we can stamp out slavery for good. But while there are victims of trafficking, we want to be here to offer them the safety, hope and choice they deserve.

Our Aim:
“To promote the rehabilitation of British
Armed Forces personnel & Veterans, who have suffered life changing
mental or physical injuries, through the medium of scuba diving and as the
charity develops to extend this to the UK blue light services and disabled
people generally.”
Our primary aim is to support and help injured current and ex-serving members of the British Armed Forces. We work with those who are suffering from life changing mental and physical challenges.
Those with physical injuries who have been on our programmes reported that the weightlessness that scuba diving provides allows them to be pain free. For many the first time since their injury. For those with PTSD it provides a calming environment as one programme member describes the aquatic realm, “When I put my head under the water the demons disappear.”
Through Deptherapy Education we provide training and advice to dive professionals and dive organisations as to how to adapt scuba diving skills so that those with disabilities might qualify as scuba divers.

The Lemon Tree Trust (LTT) is a not-for-profit organization registered in the United Kingdom, active since 2014 in supporting capacity building, development, and advocacy for greening innovation and urban agriculture within contexts of forced migration. In short, this means we work on the ground in crisis situations such as refugee camps, developing primary food production to aid food security. We are the international arm and affiliate to the U.S. based organization, Citizen D, which is a 501(c)(3) non-profit based in Dallas, Texas. Citizen D has been developing projects centered on urban agriculture in the Dallas area which are citizen driven, amongst marginalized communities such as resettled refugees.
At Lemon Tree Trust, we believe that urban agriculture—the tangible manifestation of ecology, greening and cultivation—creates new and unrealized value to achieve dignity, empowerment and sovereignty for those living in under-resourced communities, such as refugee camps.
Our Goals:
- To mainstream urban agriculture and greening innovation at the point of crisis for forced migrants
- To encourage the development of urban agriculture within refugee camps through gardening and farming
- To offer environmentally sound options for economic development and livelihood strategies within the camps
- To help make findings around agricultural solutions in forced displacement available to all stakeholders

Ronald McDonald Houses enable families to maintain a degree of normal life while their child is undergoing medical treatment in partnered specialist children's hospitals across the UK.
We give our families a warm and welcoming environment within which they can stay for as long as they need – be it a matter of days, months or even years. Our Houses are equipped with everything you would expect to find in your own home including bedrooms, a kitchen and communal areas. Where possible they also have quiet spaces for children to do their school work and for parents to work remotely – in this way we ensure families can still operate together, as they would at home. Families can cook, clean, rest and be together, all the time knowing that they are only moments away from their child in hospital.
Having a sick child can impact families across all areas of their lives. Time, money, stress, loss of education and loss of earnings are but a few of the ways in which families can be affected by their child being cared for in hospital. We work with families to allow them to focus on supporting their child and do our utmost to lessen the other stresses. Children that require specialist medical care can often be in hospital for months or even years at a time. With the help of our supporters we enable families to stay together during these times so that as much normality as is possible can be maintained. We believe families together are stronger.

THE ISSUE
Countless families across the world depend on horses, mules,
donkeys, camels and oxen for their livelihoods – and sometimes even their
lives. These hardworking animals are the backbone of many societies, yet their
lives can be short and involve great suffering. Working day after day in extreme
temperatures, often with poor harnessing, little food and no veterinary care
when they are sick or injured, many working animals endure constant pain.
OUR VISION
A world where every working animal lives a life free from
suffering and is treated with compassion.
HOW WE HELP
We believe the fortunes of working animals and people go
hand in hand.
That’s why we deliver practical support that improves the lives of working animals alongside the communities that depend on them.
OUR MISSION
To improve the welfare of working animals in the world’s
poorest communities.
We do this through treatment, training and teaching. We TREAT by providing free veterinary care when animals suffer or when emergencies strike. We TRAIN by building expertise among vets and promoting humane care by animal owners. We TEACH children to develop positive beliefs, respect and compassion towards animals.

Stonebridge Boxing Club was founded in 2010 by local resident Aamir Ali. Located in the once notorious Stonebridge park estates, the club is an active fighter against gun and knife crime by keeping kids off the streets and out of trouble. The club was on the brink of closing last year due to financial difficulties, but through the help of the local community and the likes of Amir Khan, Audley Harrison, Team Sauerland and the John Lyon charity, the club rose like a phoenix from the ashes.
Based on the fourth floor of Ujima House on Wembley High Road, the gymnasium is reminiscent of the iconic Kronk Gym in Detroit. With the windows shut and the heating on full blast, the gym turns into a furnace and the blood, sweat and tears can be tasted and smelt. When a session is in full-flow; the rhythmic beat of skipping, the thud of punches on the heavy bags and footsteps in the ring create this amazing-electric energy and atmosphere. This is not the place to have fun or a laugh, only the truly committed and dedicated survive the SBC experience. As one famous quote reads; “you can play football and cricket, but you don’t play boxing”.
With members representing every ethnic background possible, the club is a real fusion of culture, a friendly and warm place. The Stonebridge Boxing Club is not a team but a family, full of respect and support for one another. There are no egos or show-offs, and the veteran ABA fighters motivate and encourage each other and the junior members in giving it their all. There is no rivalry or bad blood between the guys; they are a band of brothers.

Making Room help adults with hoarding behaviours. Based in Hackney, we work across London, delivering advice and de-cluttering services.
We also provide on-line advice through our email contact@makingroom.co.uk
Making Room’s techniques are based on the research and findings of Frost and Steketee, leading American academics, and we have developed our assessment and session support tools from their publications.
During our assessment, the client sets the goals they want to achieve – such as sleeping in their bed, being able to access the bath or shower, cook and prepare dinner in the kitchen, have friends around, and we agree a plan together.
Our Approach is to work with the client to sort through their collection, using a ‘3 bag’ approach. Our staff (Hoarding Recovery Assistants, or HRAs for short) bring 3 different coloured bags to sessions – a black bag for rubbish, a green bag for recycling and a coloured bag for charitable donations. With support from HRAs, clients decide where each item goes – either into one of the three bags if it isn’t being kept, or to a specific room or place in the client’s home. The HRA also supports the client to arrange for collection and removal of large unwanted items (such as furniture) or large volumes of specific items such as clothing or electrical goods.
Our Programme begins with one two hour session every week, which increases in frequency as the client develops decision-making skills and can work more intensely. At the beginning of a programme, we ask clients to try and keep the de-cluttered space clear between sessions, and as the programme advances, we work with the client to agree decluttering tasks that the client will complete independently between sessions.

Our volunteers run clinics and outreach programmes in refugee camps, remote villages, schools, prisons, orphanages and community buildings. Every year many thousands of people are relieved of dental pain thanks to their hard work.
Dentaid recognises there are many people in the UK who find it difficult to access dental treatment. Many homeless and vulnerable people are not registered with a practice and don’t know what to do when dental problems arise. In some parts of the country there are long waiting lists to register with an NHS dentist. Dentaid’s mobile dental unit visits homeless shelters, day centres and community buildings providing free emergency treatment for people in pain.
Oral health education is at the heart of what we do. We run toothbrushing programmes and oral health lessons in nurseries, schools and community buildings in the UK and overseas.
Dentaid works alongside in-country dentists to share expertise and promote best practice. We provide training for dental students, opportunities for dental graduates and ongoing support for dentists around the world.
Dentaid sends reconditioned donated dental equipment and portable dental surgeries to projects in many different countries. From hand instruments to dental chairs we source and supply equipment so it can continue to benefit dentists and their patients. Our DentaidBox means dental surgeries can be set up in some of the most remote locations in the world.

THE FOUNDATION
Each year, nearly 4 million women are battered by a
significant other. In 70% of the families where spousal abuse occurs, the
children are also abused (National Coalition Against Domestic Violence). Those
who are ready to seek help may enter a crisis or transitional shelter. In most
cases the mother and children leave their home in duress, leaving all of their
belongings behind. The hope is that once these mothers have escaped the cycle of
violence, they will get the social, economic and psychological assistance they
need to begin a new life for themselves and their children.
PRESENT NOW is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization dedicated to supporting
babies, children and teens entering and living in transitional domestic violence
shelters.
Our mission is to provide disadvantaged children with both
essential goods and specialty items with the hope to bring them joy, comfort,
and relief during a time of crisis.
PRESENT NOW was founded in 2012 by Erica Fisher and Melanie Neumann, both devoted mothers residing in Los Angeles, who are deeply committed to helping young children in need.
PRESENT NOW is committed to helping these “sheltered children” find peace and joy while their mothers heal. With your support, we hope to make a change today for a child’s tomorrow.

We help people who want to garden at home, on an allotment, in a community setting or who may wish to access our own structured horticultural therapy programmes at Beech Hill (Reading), Battersea (London), and Kings Heath (Birmingham).
A research programme underpins Thrive’s work to provide evidence and improve understanding.
Gardening can help individuals accomplish many things. It can help rebuild a person’s strength after an accident or illness, and can provide a purposeful activity for someone coping with a difficult period in their life. It can lift moods and help people to connect with others, reducing isolation by forming friendships and improving communications skills.
People can learn new things, gain qualifications in horticulture and improve skills such as initiative, co-operation, patience, concentration as well as numeracy and literacy skills.
Gardens provide restorative environments and getting outside promotes recovery from stress and helps restore the ability to focus attention.

At No Kid Hungry, that's our promise. If it sounds simple, that's because it is.
That doesn’t mean ending childhood hunger is easy. We know what works, and we’ve made extraordinary progress for kids and families.
But the job isn’t done, and won’t be done until we’ve met that promise and every single child in America has the food they need to grow up healthy and strong.

African-Caribbean Leukaemia Trust (ACLT)
UK Regulator (CCEW) — Charity Number: 1119516
ACLT is a 30+ times award winning charity committed to providing hope to patients living with blood cancer and illnesses where a matched donor (stem cell, blood or organ) is required to save a life. Our work is driven by a belief that no one should die waiting for a donor to become available.
Through our work, we improve odds of finding matches by registering potential donors en masse from all ethnicities, with a focus on donors from the African and Caribbean communities. This is due to an extreme shortage of potential African and Caribbean donors.
We also provide support and advice to patients and their families throughout treatment, from diagnosis to recovery and sadly (in some cases), while supporting the patient and family during ‘end of life’: where treatments have not been successful.
Our underlying ethos is to educate communities across the UK by raising awareness about stem cell, blood and organ donation.
ACLT was founded in 1996 by Beverley De-Gale, OBE, and Orin Lewis, OBE, 3 years after receiving the devastating news that their 6-year-old son Daniel De-Gale needed a stem cell transplant in order to win his 6-year battle against acute leukaemia.

Our Ministry of Service
WHAT?! VOLUNTEERS OF AMERICA IS A CHURCH?!
Hey! Before you get scared off, give us a chance to tell you about us.
Our work is all about helping others. Plain and simple.
Yes, we are a church, but a church can mean many things.
We are a church without walls dedicated to serving ALL people.
Walls would constrain us.
Why? Because we are big on outreach, and big on being in the field where people in need are struggling. And we do this through our ministry of service that is made up of over 16,000 professionals, working across the country, and touching the lives of almost 1.5 million people annually. We take our calling seriously because the problems people face today are serious: homelessness, poverty, unemployment, lack of education, just to name a few.
So what is this ministry of service?
As members of the Volunteers of
America organization, we care for people who feel abandoned, who have given up
all hope. We care for the homeless and the developmentally disabled. We care for
our veterans, frail older adults and seniors, formerly incarcerated individuals,
people struggling with addictions, children, youth and families and so many
more.

homelessness and we innovate and develop tools to help our members make more of
a difference.
Our vision and strategy

Our vision outlines what needs to happen for homelessness to end. Our strategy
describes the approach we will take to get there.
Our impact
Our 2017 Impact Report provides a summary of Homeless Link's
major achievements over the last year, drawing on the feedback from our members
and external partners with whom we work across the country.
Street Link
StreetLink
exists to help end rough sleeping by enabling members of the public to connect
people sleeping rough with the local services that can support
them.
Take action now
How does it work?
If you are concerned about someone you have seen
sleeping rough in England or Wales, you can use this website to send an alert to
StreetLink.
The details you provide are sent to the local authority or
outreach service for the area in which you have seen the person, to help them
find the individual and connect them to support.
We ask you to provide the following information:
1) A specific location
for the rough sleeping site. You can do this by using a map to pinpoint the
exact location and then providing a written description of the location.
2)
Details of the time that the rough sleeper has been seen at the location.
3)
Any information about the rough sleeper that will help find them (gender,
approximate age, what the person looks like, what they are wearing).
You
will receive details of the action the local authority normally takes when they
are told someone is sleeping rough in their area and an update on what has
happened as a result of your alert within 10 working days if you have requested
it.
Royal Parks
UK Regulator (CCEW) — Charity Number: 1172042
The Royal Parks is a charity created in March 2017 and officially launched in July 2017 to support and manage 5,000 acres of Royal parkland across London.
We look after eight of London’s largest open spaces; Hyde, The Green, Richmond, Greenwich, St James’s, Bushy and The Regent’s Parks, and Kensington Gardens. We also manage other important open spaces in the capital including Grosvenor Square Garden, Brompton Cemetery, Victoria Tower Gardens, Canning Green and Poet’s Corner.
In 2017, we took over the role of managing the parks from The Royal Parks Agency – a former executive agency of the Department for Culture, Media and Sport (DCMS), as well as fundraising and some education from the Royal Parks Foundation. The two organisations joined forces to create our charity and bring together the best of fundraising, education and park management.
The parks are owned by the Crown with their responsibility resting with the Secretary of State for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport. The Royal Parks charity manages the parks on behalf of the government.

We believe strong women build strong nations.
Since 1993, Women for Women International has helped more than 478,000 marginalized women in countries affected by war and conflict. We serve women in 8 countries offering support, tools, and access to life-changing skills to move from crisis and poverty to stability and economic self-sufficiency.
We bring women together in a safe space to learn life, business, and vocational skills. Once enrolled, each receives a monthly stipend – a vital support that enables her to participate.
Women increase their ability to earn an income with new skills that are in-demand. They learn about their legal rights, and they become knowledgeable about health and nutrition. The result: stronger women, stronger families, and stronger communities. This ripple effect is profound.
With more than 20 years of on-the-ground experience working with women in countries affected by conflict, Women for Women International understands that a comprehensive program addressing the social and economic empowerment of marginalized women is the most effective approach.

Kiwis for kiwi
NZ Regulator (CS) — Charity Number: CC47976
What we do
It’s all in our name — ‘Kiwis for kiwi’
is about saving New Zealand’s national bird. It’s a big job, so we
focus our work where we know we’ll make the biggest difference.
The top priority is to increase The Kiwi Trust’s income so that we can fund more on-the-ground kiwi work and keep providing practical support and tools for community kiwi projects.
A one-stop shop
One thing we do is provide everything you need or want
to know about kiwi—from information on how to donate money, set up a
project, or monitor kiwi calls, to ideas for bringing kiwi into classrooms to
inspire young minds.
We’re also the top source of factual information about these fascinating birds.
You can find out about kiwi research and how we’re improving key recovery tools, such as Operation Nest Egg and Kohunga Kiwi, where young birds live safely until big enough to better defend themselves against predators.
And you can find out about our training for dogs, a major killer of adult kiwi. The training teaches the dogs to leave kiwi alone.
It’s also all about people
We couldn’t do what we do to
save kiwi if it wasn’t for people’s generosity with donations—both
from corporate New Zealand and individual Kiwis.
We value our partnership—we are Kiwis in this together.

Cancer

HIV / Aids
For Indian women, low economic and social status, abuse and

vulnerability to HIV/AIDS.
Mental Illness
Women with mental health disorders in India are
invisible - vulnerable to malnutrition, disease and rape. Others are
institutionalised against their will, living in insanitary conditions and
exposed to sexual abuse.

60% of global new cases detected every year continue to be in

Who we are
The Money Charity is the UK’s financial capability
charity.
We believe that being on top of your money means you are more in control of your life, your finances and your debts, reducing stress and hardship. And that being on top of your money increases your wellbeing, helps you achieve your goals and live a happier more positive life as a result.
Our vision is for everyone to be on top of their money as a part of everyday life. So, we empower people across the UK to build the skills, knowledge, attitudes and behaviours, to make the most of their money throughout their lives.
How do we achieve this?
- we develop and deliver products and services which provide education, information and advice on money matters, in an appropriate way for young people and adults;
- we work with all parts of the financial services industry to improve practice and outcomes for their consumers; and
- we influence and inform policymakers, the media, the industry and public attitudes to support our vision, purpose and delivery.
Volunteer Money Workshops
At The Money Charity, we believe that having
credible and enthusiastic experts delivering financial education to young people
is essential. To enable us to do this, we are always looking for new
organisations to partner with. Organisations can support our two models of
delivery in schools and colleges, either the consultant led workshops or
volunteer led workshops.
