Virtual Kickboxing for
WellChild

To Provide Care At Home, Not In Hospital

Due to popular demand, after the amazing success of the first ever Cimac Superleague virtual kickboxing tournament in February, raising over £1200 for the Young Minds charity, organiser Neville Wray has announced a second event on 18th and 25th April 2021 and this time funds raised will be for the charity WellChild as they are a national charity that looks after children of all ages.

The WellChild charity enables children and young people with exceptional health needs to be cared for at home instead of in hospital, wherever possible. Like other charities its fundraising has substantially decreased over the past year with many events being cancelled due to Covid while they have had more pressure on their services instigating a direct response service, including a call out for emergency PPE and prescription collection, for over 100,000 children who need round the clock care in their homes if they are not to spend months or even years in hospital.

The Cimac Superleague virtual kickboxing event in April will be aiming to support WellChild to relieve some of the extra pressure on the Charity that Covid has caused. It will again be held over two consecutive Sundays (18th and 25th April) with the finals being held on the second Sunday. 2019 WAKO Junior Champs The real deal, when your in it, is explosive and exciting, but so too are the Virtual Champs.
