Stop Searching
Start Healing

The Podcast

There is a new paradigm when it comes to healing. The world is changing and people are realizing that the old system is broken. The new ‘trend’ in healing is geared much more towards alternative, spiritual and metaphysical healing systems and techniques. The world needs healing now more than ever. The levels of trauma we have experienced as a society over the past twelve months, on a global scale, is unprecedented. No one has escaped. The impact of the last year has taken its toll on all of us, we are all suffering with post traumatic stress as a result of one of the most turbulent years in the history of humankind.

So what does it mean to stop searching and start healing? People are suffering on EVERY level, mentally, emotional, physically, financially.
There has to be a better way.

I hit a roadblock in my business at the end of 2020. I thought, like many, I had it all figured out, but sadly after a heavy bout of shingles (at only 49 years young it was a huge sign that my nervous system was under great strain), it really made me take stock and dig deep to find out what was actually important to me.

Spending six weeks recovering, and taking a three week break from all social media outlets, gave me space to look deeper within myself. To face lingering unresolved traumas, to heal them and then understand what inspires and has inspired me, what brought me joy, what would fill me up on a soul level. Something that was greater than just passion, more so my purpose, my mission.

Mission implies something greater than ego. ‘Jessica may you have a job that pays you only money’, I couldn’t think of a worse curse for myself. I realized, for me, to have a job that pays only money, the endless search for the city of gold, is a hell world. I realized that a doorway had opened for me to a higher level of manifestation and mission in the world. It became astoundingly clear during those reflective weeks that my soul aim is not at all about status, but about mission: To do something that will leave the world a better place, with the motivation to do something for other people that isn’t just about money or prestige.

Having spent three decades in the health and wellness industry, and working through an my own healing journey over the past five years, following a painful and traumatic divorce and overcoming an agressive eating disorder which spanned twenty five years of my life, I now run a successful healing practice of my own. But it wasn’t enough to be seeing one client at a time. Don’t get me wrong, it is an honor and a gift to be able to see the transformation in my clients lives as they do the work, just as I had done and seen in my own development and transformation. I just couldn’t ignore the nagging feeling that there had to be more.

Clearly the universe was listening. Start a podcast. Create a platform to generate a community, to highlight and raise awareness for alternative healing modalities.
Living in Los Angeles, the mecca of health and wellness, allowed me the opportunity to really explore deeply unique, yet powerful systems, that may seem to some a little leftfield, but each and every one of them served its purpose and allowed me to build a toolkit of healing techniques that I could pull from, no matter what stage of my healing journey I was on.

Because healing is exactly that, a journey, it never ends. Where we are today is not where we will be tomorrow or next week and definitely not next year. Every stage of our healing journey requires a different tool, a different version of ourselves, to deal with each life challenge. I feel it is my duty to share the knowledge I have gained, to share the people who have helped me and the techniques that some may never have heard of but could desperately benefit from. It would be selfish of me not to share. You don’t know what you don’t know, so I am making it my mission to help people heal, as I have done, so they can truly start to live full, rewarding and healthy lives. By helping others heal themselves we can gradually begin to heal the collective, to move the needle, even if it’s just one percent. If starting this podcast helps one person every day, regardless of where they are on their healing journey, wherever they may be in the world, then I will have succeeded in my mission.

The aim of the show is to bring inspiring conversations with incredible humans who have been through their own journeys. To showcase and discuss alternative healing modalities. To offer tips, techniques and life hacks that people can use to build and create their own sustainable and robust healing toolkit that they can pull from and implement into their daily lives, wherever they are on their healing journey. It is my dream, and a wonderful legacy, to spread love, joy, inspiration and hope to a world that is suffering, to help people move from surviving to thriving and really take their lives to the next level.
